Spring is my absolute favorite time of year for family photography in Philadelphia and Chester County, PA. After long, unpredictable Northeast winters, there’s nothing more joyful than seeing green return to the trees and meadows. Blooming flowers bring life and color, and southeastern Pennsylvania is full of some of the most beautiful natural and curated gardens and open fields in the country—perfect backdrops for family and maternity photo sessions.
This week, everything is finally bursting into bloom after one of the longest winters we’ve had—the sweetest signs that we’ve turned a corner. That’s the part of spring I always come back to.
