I'm a family, maternity and newborn lifestyle photographer based in Phoenixville, PA. I love natural light, being outside, and photographs that feel like real life. I'm happiest when everyone can relax, the kids can be themselves, and I can hang out with a family long enough to notice the little things
My favorite photographs have a way of transporting you back to a precise moment in time. You can almost feel the warmth of a late summer day, hear the kids laughing in the background, or remember exactly how your little one used to reach for you. Life moves quickly, and so much of what makes this season meaningful can slip by unnoticed. That is the true magic of photography to me.

I Love Photographing Kids
Kids are funny. They're honest, curious, unpredictable and endlessly interesting. I love getting down on their level, playing with them, and seeing what they're going to do next.
I'm Happiest Outdoors
I'm happiest outside with my feet in the grass, hands in the garden, and exploring. I love finding new places to photograph, but I also love the familiar ones. There is always something different to notice.
We Might Become Friends
I really like the people I get to photograph. I love hearing what's new with your family, watching your kids grow, and look forward to seeing you year after year.
My Story
Almost everyone calls me Liv, short for Elizabeth. I was grew up on a farm in rural northwest New Jersey, surrounded by a family of artists, so I guess creativity has always been in my blood.
I first became interested in photography in high school when I borrowed my grandfather's film camera for a project. I loved how photography made me look at ordinary things differently and notice things I might otherwise pass by. But I really fell in love with it in the darkroom during a photography class in college. I loved the quiet of it and the anticipation of coming back to see what I'd captured. I ended up adding photography as a second concentration to my fine arts degree, and later studied Medieval Art History at the University of Edinburgh.
After college, I worked in museums and as a study abroad advisor for college students in England. Photography was always something I came back to, though. I continued photographing friends, families and weddings on the side.
Then I had kids.
I wanted more flexibility, more time with my family, and a way to be creative while building a life that worked for all of us. After my second daughter was born, I finally took the leap and made photography my full-time work. I've been photographing families since 2017 and doing photography professionally since 2012. Getting to do this as my “job” has been so much more fun and meaningful than I ever imagined.
Why This Matters to Me
I have a terrible memory. Sometimes I can barely remember what we had for breakfast, let alone what my kids were like at six months, two or four. Especially my poor second-born child. But I'll come across a photograph from years ago and suddenly I'm back there. I remember the way the light felt, what the house looked like, the funny little things they used to say, or just how it felt to be together in that moment.
That's one of the reasons photographs have always meant so much to me. They give us a way to slow things down, hold onto a moment, and come back to it later. They become a record of our family as we change and grow, a visual history of the people we were along the way.
I want to remember the people we are right now, the way our family feels, and all the little details that make us us. That's what I hope to give my own family, and what I hope to create for yours.
