There is something special about bringing your baby home for the first time. The rooms you've already lived in suddenly take on a new meaning. The nursery you prepared, the bed where you'll spend long nights together, the couch where you'll settle in for another feeding. 

 

I love photographing these early weeks and months as they really are. The milk-drunk cuddles, the interruptions for feeding, the older sibling who wants to be close one minute and off playing the next.
