Fine Art School Photography offers a modern, authentic alternative to traditional school picture day. I create natural school portraits that capture each child's personality while providing schools and families with a simple, personalized photography experience.
My boutique, hands-on service is customized to the needs and values of your school and is available year-round. Unlike larger companies, I prioritize taking time to connect with each child during their session to highlight their unique self. My aim is to create a simple, laid-back experience that helps each child feel comfortable in front of the camera. I will never force a child to pose in a way that is unnatural, awkward or forced.

I primarily work with preschools, daycares, and K-8 private schools throughout the Philadelphia area, including the Main Line and Western Suburbs.

l believe all families deserve high-quality images of their children. If you find that your families are looking for an elevated and more authentic portrait of their child, this is the perfect option for you. HOW DOES SCHOOL PICTURE DAY WORK?
My goal is to make school picture day a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone — from the first conversation with your school to the moment families receive their photos.
Before picture day, I work closely with school staff to confirm timelines, locations, and expectations. I handle family communication and ordering directly, helping keep the administrative work for your school to a minimum. Parents and guardians receive clear, helpful information about what to expect so they can feel prepared for a picture day that’s a little different — and a lot more personal.
On picture day, each child is photographed in a predetermined location, either indoors with a simple, neutral background or outdoors to showcase your school’s beautiful campus. I spend a few moments with every child to help them feel comfortable and capture their unique personality. Staff and class photos are also taken if needed.
Within 2–3 weeks, families receive a private online gallery featuring 2–5 images of their child in both color and black and white. They can choose their favorite image(s) and order digital files, prints, and products — all online. Families can choose to have their orders shipped to their homes, or delivered for free to their school.
Throughout the process, I provide my contact information so parents can reach out directly with questions.
DOES THIS COST MORE THAN TRADITIONAL SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY?
My print and digital collections are intentionally priced to be competitive with larger traditional school photography companies. Families only order after viewing their child's gallery, and there is never an obligation to purchase.
Families can choose from a variety of print & digital packages, digital images, and à la carte products.

HOW DOES SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY PRICING WORK?
Unlike many traditional school photography companies, I intentionally limit the number of schools I photograph each year so I can provide every school with a personalized, boutique experience.
There is no upfront cost to the school. Families purchase photographs directly through their online galleries, and the program is designed to make ordering simple and accessible for parents.
Because every school is different, I personally review enrollment, scheduling needs, and participation when planning each photography day. This allows me to create a photography plan that makes sense for your school rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach.

WHAT TIME OF YEAR DO YOU BOOK SCHOOLS?
I offer this service year-round and schools can coordinate a date with me that works best for their calendar. Some schools prefer photos in the winter and spring when things are calmer. Others may decide to offer school portraits twice a year, as young children change so much within a single school year.
WHERE DO YOU OFFER SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY?
I provide school photography throughout Philadelphia's Western Suburbs, the Main Line, and surrounding Greater Philadelphia communities.
Before photo day, I'll work with your school to determine the best location for portraits. Depending on your school's setting and preferences, photos can take place indoors with a simple, neutral background or outdoors on your campus.
Outdoor portraits are a beautiful option for schools that want a more natural, relaxed look. If weather doesn't cooperate, photos can move indoors.
DO YOU PROVIDE CLASS PHOTOS AND STAFF PHOTOS?
Definitely! If your school would like class photos and staff photos we can also arrange to take these during your photo day.
