My boutique, hands-on service is customized to the needs and values of your school and is available year-round. Unlike larger companies, I prioritize taking time to connect with each child during their session to highlight their unique self. My aim is to create a simple, laid-back experience that helps each child feel comfortable in front of the camera. I will never force a child to pose in a way that is unnatural, awkward or forced.

WHAT TYPES OF SCHOOLS DO YOU WORK WITH?

l primarily work with preschools and daycares with children between the ages of 0-6, however I photograph children of all ages within my larger portfolio of work and happy to offer it to schools with older children.

IS THIS RIGHT FOR MY SCHOOL?

l believe all families deserve high-quality images of their children. If you find that your families are looking for an elevated and more authentic portrait of their child, this is the perfect option for you. If the administration is looking for a streamlined and modern operation, this would be a great fit for the school.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

My goal is to make school picture day a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone — from the first conversation with your school to the moment families receive their photos.

Before picture day, I work closely with school staff to confirm timelines, locations, and expectations. Parents and guardians receive clear, helpful information about what to expect so they can feel prepared for a picture day that’s a little different — and a lot more personal.

On picture day, each child is photographed in a predetermined location, either indoors with a simple, neutral background or outdoors to showcase your school’s beautiful campus. I spend a few moments with every child to help them feel comfortable and capture their unique personality. Staff and class photos are also taken if needed.

Within 2–3 weeks, families receive a private online gallery featuring 2–5 images of their child in both color and black and white. They can choose their favorite image(s) and order digital files, prints, and products — all online. Families can choose to have their orders shipped to their homes, or delivered for free to their school.

Throughout the process, I provide my contact information so parents can reach out directly with questions.

DOES THIS COST MORE THAN TRADITIONAL SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY?

All of my prices and packages are designed to be competitive with the larger big box companies. There is no up front cost and all profit is made from orders. Families can choose what they would like to purchase after they view the images. The final images are available to families as both digital and physical prints and products.

WHAT TIME OF YEAR DO YOU BOOK SCHOOLS?

I offer this service year-round and schools can coordinate a date with me that works best for their calendar. Some schools prefer photos in the winter and spring when things are calmer. Others may decide to offer school portraits twice a year, as young children change so much within a single school year.

WHERE DO YOU TAKE SCHOOL PHOTOS?

I will visit your school to determine the best spot to take your school photos. This may be in an unused classroom or other open space. Or, if you prefer (and weather depending) we can find a place outdoors if you feel a natural setting is more aligned with your school's vision.

DO YOU PROVIDE CLASS PHOTOS AND STAFF PHOTOS?

Definitely! If your school would like class photos and staff photos we can also arrange to take these during your photo day.

HOW DO I ACCESS MY SCHOOL'S PHOTO DAY WEBSITE?

If your school has booked me to take photos for your school photo day, you will have access to your own private webpage with information to help you prepare, order & access your child's photos.
