Lifestyle Newborn Photography in Phoenixville

Your baby has come home, and suddenly the spaces you've always known feel a little different.

I photograph these early weeks and months in the place where your family is becoming something new: your home. Sessions are baby-led and unhurried, with plenty of room for feeding, cuddling, sibling interruptions, and all the ordinary little moments worth remembering.

How it Works

My Approach

I’m a natural light lifestyle newborn photographer serving Phoenixville, Chester County, and the Greater Philadelphia area. Sessions take place in your home, using the spaces and light that are already part of your everyday life.

There’s very little posing and no expectation that your baby (or anyone else) behave a certain way. I’ll guide you when needed, but mostly I’m looking for the little things: the way you hold your baby, the way siblings interact, and the quiet moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.

With two kids of my own, I know how unpredictable these early days can be. We’ll take our time and follow your baby’s cues. I want you to have a calm, supported and stress-free experience.

What Your Session Feels Like

These sessions are slow, gentle, and unhurried.

There’s time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and breaks. Older siblings can warm up at their own pace, and nobody needs to smile on command.

I’ll offer gentle direction when it's helpful, but there is plenty of room for things to unfold naturally. Most of the time, your baby will be right where they belong: in your arms, on your shoulder, or snuggled in bed with you.

No props. No elaborate posing. Just your family, as you are.

Pets are always welcome.

When to Book

I recommend reserving your newborn session during pregnancy to make sure I have room on my calendar. When you book, you'll select your due date. Once your baby arrives, we’ll choose an actual session date.

I generally recommend waiting about two weeks after birth. Those first days are a huge adjustment, and giving yourself a little time to recover, settle in, and find your rhythm can make the experience much more relaxed.

My goal is always to support you during this season, not add to your to-do list.

And don't worry about missing the "newborn window." I photograph babies from around two weeks through their first several months. Each stage looks a little different, and there's no such thing as too late to document this part of your family's story.

Tell the Whole Story

Many families choose to pair their newborn session with maternity and/or Fresh 48 photography to document the whole of this new chapter.

Maternity Sessions
A quiet pause before everything changes, focused on you, your family, and the connection you're forming with the little person you're already beginning to know.

Fresh 48 Sessions
A short session at your hospital or birth location during those first 24-48 hours, documenting the tiny details, first cuddles and raw first moments together.

Maternity and Fresh48 sessions can be each added to your newborn sessions for 50% off.

How Booking Works

When you book your newborn session, you'll select your due date rather than a specific session date. Once your baby arrives, we’ll connect to choose a date that works for you.

Newborn sessions are typically scheduled on weekday mornings around 9:30  AM), when natural light is the strongest.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your session.

Your Session Includes

• In-home lifestyle newborn session
• Newborn + immediate family
• Approximately 1.5–2 hours
• Every edited high-resolution image from your session, typically 40+
• Private online gallery
• Integrated print and product shop
• Print release

"I had such a great experience working with Liv! She really is the best. My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera but she made the entire session feel so relaxed and easy. We love both our maternity and newborn photos and I will definitely be using her for future family photos! I can't recommend her enough :)"
